Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Tanker Trailer Structure

The structure of the liquefied petroleum gas tanker trailer is relatively simple. The main components are: The trailer body, the tank body, the loading and unloading device, and the safety device. The following is a brief introduction to several important parts of the tanker.
The semi-trailer transporter has two loading and unloading operation boxes, and the mobile one has only one, and the operation boxes are located in the middle of the tanker.

Emergency cut-off device
The emergency cut-off device is a valve connecting the tank body and the pipeline, which is equivalent to the tank root valve of the petrochemical storage tank. It is a device for emergency cut-off when the pipeline leaks. Generally, it is closed during transportation. Yes, it is only opened during loading and unloading. Common emergency cut-off devices have two types: mechanical pull type and hydraulic type. When the hydraulic type is pressed, it is in the open state, when the pressure is released, the valve is closed.

Loading and unloading pipeline
The loading and unloading pipelines are divided into gas-phase pipelines and liquid-phase pipelines, and the liquid-phase pipelines are larger than the gas-phase pipelines.

Liquid level gauge
The liquid level gauge is a device used to observe and control the amount of liquid (volume or weight) filled in a tanker. When the tanker tipping angle is greater than 30 degrees, the liquid level gauge will fail, that is, the liquid level cannot be judged based on it.

Safety relief device
It mainly refers to the safety relief device combined with the safety valve and the bursting disc. The safety valve of the device is combined in series with the bursting disc and communicated with the tank body in gas phase, and is arranged above the tank body.
When the tanker rolls over 30°, the safety valve will leak the liquid medium when the tank is overpressured. Remember not to pump water into the safety valve during cooling, otherwise the safety valve will be frozen and the tanker trailer will lose its intrinsic safety.
