Definition and design differences

1.Container trailer head (trailer head):
Specially designed for towing container trailers or semi trailers, the center of gravity and wheelbase have been optimized to improve driving stability.
Equipped with dedicated safety systems (such as braking and steering systems) to ensure the safety of container transportation.
2.Tractor:
A generalized towing vehicle that can adapt to different types of trailers or cargo (such as trucks, vans), with a simpler and more flexible structure.
Short wheelbase and rear suspension, strong turning flexibility, and equipped with a multi speed transmission to adapt to different load requirements.

Application scenarios and functions
1.Container trailer:

Mainly used for large-scale container transportation in ports, logistics centers, and other scenarios, it can tow multiple container trailers.
High loading and unloading efficiency, matching standard container size, suitable for long-distance stable transportation.
2.Tractor:
Widely applicable, it can handle complex road conditions such as urban roads and highways, and is suitable for transporting various types of bulk or heavy goods.
Stronger load-bearing capacity, capable of pulling heavy vehicles such as trucks and vans.
